The best time to visit the south coast of Sri Lanka is from the middle of November to the middle of April. The weather is mostly sunny, there is less rain than at other times of the year – and very important for Green Roof House: the beach just in front of the house is perfectly sandy. This is therefore our high season.
The price for the whole house is 200 Euros per night from November 15 to April 15.
The time around Christmas and Western New Year (December 22 to January 3) is the extra high season with a price of 300 Euros per night.
The rest of the year is priced as low season at 150 Euros per night for the whole house. You will have to go a bit to the side to swim in the ocean, but the swimming pool is always available. And you must be prepared for more rain – often as short powerful showers, and even when it drips all day the warm climate makes it absolutely bearable.
The price for the individual rooms are a bit higher, because renting out one room blocks the possibility to rent out the whole house. Each room therefore cost 45 per cent of the whole house.
You get 20% off if you rent for a full week (both for the whole house and for the individual rooms(, and 35% off if you rent the whole house for a full month.
